Honored Native Guest Speaker,
Medicine Man,
Since 2012 I am a legal member and medicine person of the Oklevueha Native American Church, as well as, the head of my own Native American church ‘Toltec Sun Ministries’. I conduct Native American style weddings, Sweat Lodges and blessing ceremonies, as well as, share shamanic teachings and energetic practices including Medicine Wheel empowerments with sacred drum, flute, songs and chants.

I have been in Sedona, Arizona arriving on the summer solstice of 1987. By 1988 I began working as a Sacred Earth vortex tour guide and eventually started my own company in 1990 as Sedona Nature Excursions with my specialty Mystic Tours.

During the 1990's I worked with many people very eager to experience the energy of the Sedona red rock country and its famous vortex energies.  And this gave me the opportunity to develop my own unique way of teaching and sharing shamanic wisdom and healing methods while out in the beauty of the sacred landscape of Sedona.

My approach has combined wisdom teachings from both eastern Yogic traditions, Taoist wisdom, Christian mysticism and Native American shamanism.  I was especially drawn to the teachings of Toltec wisdom that has come out of Mexico, and to the practice of Kriya yoga through Babaji's lineage.  Since I was already very deep into the practice of western astrology, I was able to merge this perspective into the teachings of the Medicine Wheel as taught to me by Sun Bear.

Regarding my Indian ancestry, it comes out of Mexico, although I was born in the Midwest of the United States where I grew up, I recognize myself as an American born Toltec. My awakening to the shamanic path was preceded by a number of mystical experiences I had beginning in my teenage years that jolted my reality.  And these types of experiences continued throughout my life where I had some profound encounters with Spirit Powers and intelligences from alternate realities.  At the age of 21, is when I was telepathically contacted by my ascended Master teacher that began my conscious journey onto the spiritual path.

Sam Anderson is of the Dine' People.  To all of you Sam says, "Yá’át’ééh! Shik’éí dóó shidine’é. Greetings my relatives and my people, friends. Shí éí Sam Anderson yinishyé.

My clans are, Dzil tlahnii’ nishli’ (I’m Cove mountian people). To’baazhiinazhi’ ei’ ba’shi’chiin (Born for Two who came to water people). Kinyaa, aanii da’shi’ ei’ da’shi’nali’ (My Paternalgrand parents are Towering House people). To’baazhiinazhi’ ei’ da’shi’ceii. (My Maternal Grandparents are Two Who came to water people). This is who I am as a Dine’.

My sacred ancestral homes are To’beehwiisgani (Hardened mud around the water) is where I grew up. On the map you’ll see it as Pinedale NM. This is where my mom’s side of the family call home. Be’Akiid Ho’teeli’ (Wide Lake) is where my dad’s side of the family call home. On the map you’ll see it as Mariano Lake.

These two sacred places are where I have received most of my traditional teachings and understanding of life from my elders and going to ceremonies. I do my best to carry on these teachings and passing them on to the younger generation.

Currently I’m a preschool teacher working with beautiful Indigenous children. I incorporate a lot of cultural teachings. I love teachings the Indigenous values to the little ones.

I have also run a cultural program in a residential hall at an all Native High school. One of my job duties was a Traditional counselor. Bringing our children back on the red road by reconnecting them through traditional teachings, prayers and songs.

I’m also honored to be initiated to do the Northern style traditional dance through the powwow circle. I travel the country attending many inter-tribal celebrations by dancing, drumming and singing in the sacred circle with the relatives.

My journey in life I believe to be the bridge between many cultures. We are all journeying on this sacred path. We need to share the teachings so that we can better take care of Mother Earth. Together we can teach the younger generations so they can carry on the teachings.

" My dear friends the healing modalities that I have learned are that of Tibetan, Atlantean, Lemurian as well as knowledge's from many other civilizations that came before and some that do not reside upon this world, I work with the elementals as well as your guides to assist you in activations deep within your cellular memories thus raising your vibration and helping to bring your beingness to the now time by integrating that of your past selves, future and present which in turn becomes a very powerful combination to wholeness.

My friends you must know......although these many gifts unfold before me I do not claim what comes through me, I am merely the vessel my hands, voice and energy is that of the Creatorship. Only when I completely surrender to the Creator energy do I become that conduit to the gifts that unfold and it is my honor to willingly do so."

Shams is a life long musician, environmentalist, ecologist, lover of life, good health, the land and his family.

He is a musician and healer who has lived and practiced music-as-medicine all over the world.

Originally from Australia, Shams spent approximately 20 years above the rain forest canopy in Costa Rica, living and teaching how to live in harmony with the land in Eco communities and retreat centers.

His manifestation of Changleska comes from a deep calling to create a warm, welcoming, safe, and powerful place for cosmic family gathering in the name of evolution and love.

The Lakota word "changleska" means circle in the Lakota language.  But it means more than this.

"Cangleska Wakan" is a Lakota term meaning Sacred Circle or Hoop.  It is based on the concept that everything in the Universe is interrelated, human beings and all things which exist in their environment are connected in one continuous process of growth and development. Cangleska being a circle and Wakan meaning holy or sacred.
